The concept of this work is based on three pillars: cultural criticism, education and design. Speaking about public space, one has to deal with following questions: Why does public space looks like its does? Who is reacting on this situation with what kind of instruments?
Pedagogic concepts consider public space as an educational space where you can learn. Here the project "We play everywhere" starts:
it focuses on project work with kids exploring their own neighbourhood and possibilities to play. Project work not only is a method to explore a subject but also a method of participation which means the chance of participation in changing and re-creating your surrounding. When kids join the planning and design of ideas, they realize that public space and conditions are changeable.
